Can I travel alone to Madagascar?

Yes, you can travel alone, but the streets are not well marked, and public transport outside of Nosy Be is quite challenging. I recommend taking a good tour guide who speaks your language to make you feel comfortable.

Signage is almost nonexistent, and the internet is not available everywhere.
The best option is to buy a SIM card from Telma or Orange and purchase a plan for 25,000 Ariary.
Most stores accept the local currency, the Ariary. You can bring euros to exchange them here in Madagascar. Smaller bills are preferred over large ones at exchange offices and banks. It would be a good idea to check if you can pay for the hotel with your credit card. Cash registers are only available in tourist areas, Visa cards work everywhere, while Mastercard cards work sometimes.

The 15-day tourist visa: 10 Euros.

The 30-day tourist visa: 37 Euros.

The 45-day tourist visa: 45 Euros

From March to November is the best time, while from December to February is the rainy season.
Miskito spray, light shorts, open shoes, flip-flops, sunscreen, enough euros, first aid kit, aspirin, Imodium, Fenistil, malaria prophylaxis, Katadyn-type water filter bottle. (Tap water is not drinkable, but you can buy bottled water at the supermarket).
Throughout the year, temperatures range between 28°C and 33°C, but be aware that the capital of the main island can be much colder. Depending on where you plan to travel in Madagascar, check the temperature first before packing your suitcase.
It is not mandatory to enter Madagascar, but doctors recommend it.
